Paula CalisePaula F. Calise

Clients marvel at Paula Calise’s speed and quality in filling key roles with people who fit the company, culture and team. She immediately connects with her clients’ concerns and helps them reduce the risk of hiring and the “wear and tear” on their managers in the search for the right people. Paula consistently delivers candidates who have proven track records of making an impact on the current year’s results.

Paula’s experience as a hiring manager and leader of organizations of hundreds of sales and marketing professionals translates into business acumen and an uncanny recognition of special talent. She is known for her generosity of pay-it-forward networking and coaching, which benefits her clients by bringing many exceptional passive candidates to her personal network.

Throughout her career, Paula has been known for her leadership of sales and marketing organizations, creativity in growing market share, and installing sales and marketing discipline. Prior to Calise & Co., she held positions as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Viscern, a national consulting firm, Market Director of TXU Energy’s middle market business, and Regional Sales Manager at Lexis/Nexis. Earlier, after a decade of rapid advancement thought the sales ranks of IBM, she was named North Texas Branch Manager and selected from 300 internal candidates to serve in the “walking around MBA” role of assistant to the business unit President.

With an undergraduate degree in Human Resources from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Houston, Paula also finds time for not-for-profit and community volunteerism and leadership. She is the co-founder of Dallas Executive Women’s’ Network Group, a mentor for the Professional Leadership Program at the University of North Texas (UNT), an active volunteer for Jr. Achievement of Dallas, on the Advisory Board of the Marketing and Logistic program in the College of Business at UNT, a founding member of The Board Connection and a member of Success North Dallas.
